A while ago I posted a blog about the step-by-step creation of a custom bracelet made for one of my return customers. At the time I didn't have access to the pictures of her previous custom orders, but promised to share them at a later date. Now I can!
This was her first ever creation that I worked on for her:
This customer found me and had a bracelet she ...

One of the absolute, most empowering phrases that has ever been spoken to me. "You'll know." In times where I've doubted myself and gone to another for advice, this information was by far the most helpful. It told me a couple things:
This person believed in the power of intuition.
This person believed in the power of THEIR intuition.
And this person believed in the power of MY intuition.
How freaking fantastic is that?! To assert to someone h...

I had an experience today that was rather profound. I found myself questioning what it is that I am doing - what it is that I'm trying to accomplish. Why was I here? Where should I go from here? I had thought I had all these things figured out, but suddenly was feeling like I was doing everything wrong and like I wasn't where I should be. I started thinking about what I might be manifesting in my life, the things I've been focusing on, where my energy had been go...Read Full Post »

Some of the happiest moments in our lives can also breed some of the saddest simultaneously. Internally we have a wisdom; one which knows that life has a constant flow. Nothing remains the same. Not people, not feelings, not the environment, etc. It's just a fact of life that we and everything around us are constantly changing.
Sometimes in the midst of an ecstatically happy moment, we are hit with a sudden with an feeling of sadness that is j...

I am an avid Facebooker. I use the social platform to stay connected to various family/friends, to share inspiring and activist posts, and as a tool to spread information. The other day I made a very personal post about something in my experience. There were offenses taken, support given; a lot of emotion followed in the thread. I had made the post and left it for a couple hours. By the time I came back to it, the whole thing had taken on a life of it's own. That was the most ...Read Full Post »

Projection is an important thing to understand in relationships. It explains the jump between : this is what "so and so" is thinking, and what "so and so" is actually thinking. It's a method of imposing our own reasonings and judgements upon another person, by assuming that they act the same way that we do for the same reasons. Because we are all individuals, it is important to understand that this is not necessarily how things are. One individual may turn off th...Read Full Post »

There's something profound about looking at the ocean, and realizing how small I am in this universe. And at the same time knowing how big of an impact I have the potential to make in my immediate world and the ones of those around me.
I never want to dull...Read Full Post »

I have this friend... and she inspired me to write this out of my love for her.
It's okay to be sad, to be angry, to be frustrated.
It's okay to take a break.
It's okay to experience the down times, just as much as the happy.
It's okay to express what you are feeling, and I love you for it.
It's okay to allow yourself to be human, and I love you even more.
It's okay to accept yourself as you are, and also have goals for the futur...

Many people have heard of Tantra.
Here is a modern definition according to Urbandictionary.com:
Tantra is not well understood in the western world, but is a key to healthy living and awareness that can transform you into the person you were meant to be.
The Sanskrit word Tantra is related to the concept of weaving and expansion- it derives from 'ta...Read Full Post »
